Still going- great content Pat. I loved the way of thinking you proposed to doing what you love. I truly have never thought of it like that way. Incredible video.

You should velcro some plexi glass to your wall to write on. You can grab it from home depot for about $25 per home depot for a 36×36 sized panel. Then buy the 3M damage free hanging velcro stick ons from home depot or wal-mart.

Hey Patrick. I was played recently. I had an eye surgery and the doc charged me more money after the procedure because I had different political opinions. I felt betrayed and didn’t fight it at the time. why? didnt see it coming. I want revenge I suppose, and also to let it go. but. He is well placed in this world and ethically wrong. Should I let this go? I paid him. but only after he insisted. if he sued me I was done. his word against mine. I feel challenged and hurt.

Hi, Patrick, this is by far the best topic I enjoyed from your videos. Not to say that the others are not good, not at all. But like the very topic says the number one thing for entrepreneurs to learn. This is invaluable for all of us, learning how to process issues is definitely a great starting point. Thanks a million.

You have changed my life PBD, thank you, God bless you. May I ask what books would you recommend to improve skills and abilities to process issues?

  • April 26, 2017 at 10:58 am

I have always said the most important thing is “resilience”. For me, processing issues is a part of resilience, but resilience takes it a step further as “keep processing issues”. The ability to get knocked about while processing the issues and come back to processing.

:)… you know, I cannot not smile because I was just so curious to hear what you have to say about this topic. I was thinking about the one thing that I tell them each and every day, even if they cry about it, about all aspects: FIND A SOLUTION (if you really try and not find a solution, come to one of us – the parents – and we will help you). Sometimes they cry a lot, it breaks my heart to see them so frustrated, then I start to ask them questions about the solution they may have searched for or found and then just ask them: DID YOU ALSO THINK OF THIS OR THAT? (which is actually a minor “help” to their solution) and their face lightens up and they tell: of course, yes, that’s the thing, I did not think of that and they leave. Sometimes it is sooooo cute when my 4 year old daughter comes to us with something minor (for us the parents) and tells us: “Look daddy: I found the ‘lution’, you see?”. I cannot even describe what goes through my mind and how big my heart groes :)…

I still have a question though: can you tell me please, what is your MAXIMUM monthly / yearly quota that you want to achieve and then say it is enough? Could you give a number or describe it through a life standard that you want to have as a daily basis?
    Thank you Pat! 🙂

This was huge for me because I’m 14 starting a business and I was thinking is the most important thing never give up or something and when it hit your lips I realized holy crap I’ve been missing this all long. After that I started to think of the times when I have and haven’t used this and thought to my self damn I just understood there was a bar of gold on my nose all day.

I think there is great truth in your answer there Pat, however I think there is one layer above that. The love of all types of education (not just academics.)
I think this because someone can learn how to process issues but they also need to have the technical knowledge aswell. There’s that saying, I’m not sure who by, that goes something like this ‘Formal education will make you wealthy, self education will make you a fortune’. Humans have been writing things down for so long that the majority of human knowledge is there for anyone to grasp if the seek it.

    Hello Patrick!

I would like to send my business plan to you, and have you review and let me know what it is that maybe I should improve, or consider thinking about for my plan. Please let me know where I could submit this to. I look forward to hearing back from you. Thanks and God bless!

Hey Pat! I’d love to hear your thoughts on Having a Work/Life Balance as an entrepreneur.

  • August 22, 2017 at 4:39 pm

I think the most important thing you need to teach your kids is to finish what they have started and that includes processing issues that you have to go through. But at the end, you’ve done what you’ve got to do.
