Aaddzz/CyberStudios Success Story

An Early Success for Aaddzz came during the inital beta testing phase when CyberStudios tried Aaddzz for their Wedding411.com web site and found the results to be impressive:

CyberStudios verified the effectiveness of their Aaddzz campaign by suspending it, at which time they saw a corresponding decline in enrollments on their site. When CyberStudios re-enabled their banners, their site's traffic and enrollments increased again.

Importantly, during this time the size of the Aaddzz affilitate network and number of advertisers was exceedingly small. Aaddzz's targeting accuracy increases as the size of the affiliate network and the number of advertisers grows. As Aaddzz grows, CyberStudios can expect Wedding411.com to see even more impressive results.

The Wedding411.com Campaign

The Wedding411.com campaign consisted of six 468x60 ads:

Creating multiple ads can improve a campaign's overall effectiveness. Different ads appeal to different people and might be better matched on different sites. Aaddzz automatically does this matching to increase click-thrus.

Also, it is not uncommon for some ads to be four or more times more effective than others. Aaddzz allows for advertisers to experiment with multiple ads. This allows poor performing ads to be screened, allowing advertisers to create their best ad campaign.

As of April 15th, 1998, 48% of the ads shown by Aaddzz were 468x60. Cyberstudios can improve the effectiveness of its Wedding411.com campaign by providing ads in more sizes. This would allow them to advertise on more sites and may provide Wedding411.com with more click-thrus.

This was a pay per click-thru campaign. This means that if Aaddzz was unable to generate click-thrus, CyberStudios would not have been charged at all. This low risk method for trying aesthetically different banner designs is one of the many features that makes Aaddzz especially attractive to advertisers.
