account balance
Aaddzz services must be prepaid. Your account balance represents your total payments minus expenditures.

advertising expense
In an Aaddzz Account Statement, advertising expense is the amount spent from the account balance for the month. This includes set up, impression, and click-thru fees.

budget balance
To reserve a portion of your account balance from being spent on advertising, you can set a budget balance. If you have set a budget balance, advertising will stop once your budget balance has been expended.

click-thru
A click-thru occurs each time some one clicks on an ad.

Advertisers who want people to visit their Web pages prefer to pay per click-thru because they only pay if the ad generate results.

commission balance
Payments for advertising on your Web spaces are made to your commission balance. You can transfer money from commission balance to your account balance at any time. A check will be issued at the end of the billing month if the amount due to you is at least $5.00. You can specify an ammount to be held in reserve by setting your commission check base.

commission check base
Normally, checks are issued for the full amount of your commission balance at the end of the billing month. You can specify an amount to be held in your commission balance. This amount is called the commission check base. You might use this feature to redirect a portion of your web space selling revenues to web advertising.

commission income
In an Aaddzz Account Statement, commission income is the amount paid to you for impression and click-thrus, paid with non-promotional dollars, in your ad spaces for the month. These dollars are added to your commission balance unless you have specied auto transfer to place these funds in your account balance.

discount points
As an incentive to volume advertisers, Aaddzz discounts the cost of advertisng to high volume advertisers. Discount points refers to the percentage discount applied to impression or click-thru charges.

discount volume
As an incentive to volume advertisers, Aaddzz discounts the cost of advertisng to high volume advertisers. Discount volume refers to the total advertising dollars spent in the previous three billing periods.

hit
Aaddzz defines a hit as the serving of a request for an ad, counter, or tracker. Beware, hit is often defined differently.

impression
An impression occurs each time an ad is displayed.

Web ad space sellers normally prefer to be paid per impression because they always get even if the ad is a poor or if the ad is a poor match for their site.

Aaddzz allows Web ad space sellers to be paid per click-thru because Aaddzz only shows the most effective ads.

IP address
To differientiate computers, each computer connected to the Internet is assigned at least one unique Internet Protocol address.

Computers that connect to the Internet intermittantly may sometimes share an address. These dynamic IP addresses are assigned at the begining of each connection.

page visit

payments
In an Aaddzz Account Statement, payments is the total amount of all checks issued to you during the month.

promotional balance
Your promotional balance is amount of promotional dollars you may spend on advertising. For advertising expentiures, your promotional balance will be debited in preference to your account balance.

No commissions or payments are made to resellers, Aaddzz, or Web masters on advertisments paid with promotional dollars.

promotion expense
In an Aaddzz Account Statement, promotion expense is the amount spent for setup, impression and click-thru fees from your promotional balance for the month.

promotion income
In an Aaddzz Account Statement, promotion income is the amount paid to you for impression and click-thrus, paid with promotional dollars, in your ad spaces for the month.

single page visit
A single page visit is a visit that as far as Aaddzz is able to determine started and end on a single page.

target page
When a viewer clicks on an ad, the viewer is sent to the target page of the ad.

visit
Aaddzz considers multiple hits to a page or a site to be a part of the same visit if the hit occurs with in the 30 minutes of the last hit to the page or site. A visit is also ended if Aaddzz identifes the visitor at another site.

visit length
Visit length is a relative measure of how long users are estimated to have spent on pages Aaddzz monitors. Aaddzz visit lengths should only by compared against each other.

Many factors, such as the number of pages of a site not monitored by Aaddzz will affect the accuracy of the estimate.
