Click-Thru Advertising

Click-thru advertising uses Web ads to direct viewers to the advertiser's Web site. Because each viewer who clicks through to your Web site represents a qualified potential customer, click-thru ads can generate a significant return for an advertiser. The more information you can pack into a click-thru ad, the more qualified the viewer is.

How Click-Thrus Work

Aaddzz uses statistics to make click-thru advertising work. Rather than relying on guesswork, Aaddzz tries thousands of ads on thousands of ads spaces to determine the most effective combination of advertisement and location. If you're selling ad space, this guarantees you the highest revenue for your Web page. If you're buying advertising, this means that you get the best possible return on your advertising dollar.

Aaddzz automatically determines which ads are mostly likely to generate revenue. Ads that do not generate revenue are easily identified and removed from view. This allows Web sites to embrace the pay per click-thru advertisers must demand. Additionally, advertisers can use Aaddzz to test dozens of ads on sites all over the Internet to reach diverse segments of their markets.

Aaddzz makes Web sites more profitable by preventing ineffective ads from lingering on Web pages and displaying the most profitable ads.

Aaddzz makes advertising dollars more effective by allowing advertisers to pinpoint the most effective ads for the market segment each Web page attracts.

Click-Thru Strategy

Here's some information to help you get the most click-thrus for your advertising dollar

When you decide on your per-click-thru rate, consider that each click-thru ad competes for Web space with all other impression and click-thru ads. The easiest way to increase the number of times and places an ad appears, is to increase the amount you pay per click-thru.

For example, a good match between a unique service and a specialized Web page can have a click-thru rate of between 5% and 10%. If you pay $1.00 per click-thru, the average revenue is $0.05 and $0.10 for each time the ad appears. This would compete favorably with an average per-impression rate of $0.01 to $0.05.

The form that you use for setting your advertising rate contains charts that show you up-to-the-minute information on prevailing rates paid by all Aaddzz advertisers.

In general, a base rate of $1.00 is a good place to start for click-thru based advertising. You can then monitor the number of click-thrus your ad produces and adjust your rate accordingly.

There is no point in paying for advertising that does not deliver interested visitors. Therefore, click-thru ads should be designed so that people uninterested in the target page will not click-thru on the ad.

In particular, ambiguous ads should not be click-thru ads. If an ad viewer would be unsure what the target page of an is about, the ad is ambiguous.

If you are selling a something on your Web page, state the the price on the ad to filter out those who will not spend that amount.
