When you go to the gym, do you ever see the same person there every time, working out really hard? With some, you notice you never see any progress with their body. How is that even possible? The same thing goes with business. You can have two people that became entrepreneurs at the exact same time. We’ll call them Bobby and Joey. Bobby and Joey are both all-the-timers, working 80 hours a week. But five years into it, Bobby’s business does million a year, and Joey’s business only does a couple hundred thousand dollars a year. Why is that? It’s all about priorities. So in today’s video I’m going to get into how to prioritize as an entrepreneur.

    What i find makes me special is that i can usually think up a great next innovative campaign from nothing out of thin air. At the moment my company is in survival mode and although i am probably not working hard enough (i dedicate my entire day to the business) i am doing my best to make it happen. I want my company to push through this phase so that i can start on leadership develop (which ive started to develop myself extensively) and now i am starting to develop others (in whichever areas i excell at) and hopefully they can develop me as well; such is reciprocation. Once i get to focus on innovative campaigns i tell yah pat i am going to unstoppable. I have i five year plan that i cant wait to implement. It will actually change the entire industry in my country. It revolutionizes the industry here and i can already see the level of explosion that will happen. We will be in every major city in my country and then i hope we can start upselling to existing customers. We might even be able to dominate this industry if we keep to these entrepreneur strategies.

    Hi Pat, Great video! I have 2 questions.

    1. I decided to become a founder of my own company and was curious how a tipical day looks like of an entrepreneur? How many hours do you work? How often do you take vacation? Do you work 7 days a week? How often do you hit the gym and read books?
    2. What is your opinion on crowd funding vs. traditional funding from “Angel investors” or taking a loan from the bank? Would you recommend one more than the other? Have you ever used any of those 3 financing vehicles?

    Mr.Patrick i am huge Fan of yours have seen all your Videos i am Computer Engineer doing job in Dubai 8 hours Job after work i joined small shop who does same computer repair service as a partner i work there 6-7 hours sometimes more hours i have family 2 kids House wife no other source of income apart from salary + my partner business we started about 3 months so far we r doing ok my partner is forcing me to quit job work full time i can’t effort to quit job & handle my family expenses can you suggest what i can do ?

    There’s only a few things you can do in a business which is leadership dev, innovate and problem solve, business development and operations (the last 2 listed cause linear growth while the first two cause exponential growth). You can’t focus too much on the explosion phase and neglect your linear or you’ll overextend yourself and the inverse it true and your business will die.

    hi patrick, I wonder why businesses always use pictures of laptops, coffee cups and people in formal attire on their websites, brochures and etc… i wanna know how we can be different and use something else. something that is totally different from those common stock photos. i hope u make a video on this someday. thanks and goodluck with your videos.

    I for some reason focused mainly on the left side of your chart; Campaign and Operation, but am only starting to get into the right side of it; Leadership and Sales as well… of course I had no clue of that in relation to this paradigm until watching this video but am happy to know better where I’ve been. Just before watching this I knew I at least needed to focus more on sales, and have known the value of a team, investing more in people but have only begun actually doing it gradually over a long time.
