If we don’t self-promote ourselves and our brand, we will be left behind.

You need to be a bit shameless when talking about yourself. talk about your achievements through stories and don’t just state it. Talk about recent victories. Make predictions so if you’re right you gain some credibility. Don’t name drop or book drop if you don’t know them or have read the book. Be knowledgable on you subject. Don’t talk about yourself all the time be sparing with it.

I love this guy. He’s super confident without being arrogant. Really modest, really in control of his audience. There is lots to learn from him-what he says and how he says it.  This is GOOD stuff.

Hey Pat, i wanted to ask you because your opinions come from experience:
What problem do most businesses face these days that might be solved using software/technology?

  • May 4, 2017 at 1:56 pm

From watching your videos I found out so much I’ve done wrong when I first started my business. I was getting burned out, aggravated and almost thought about quitting but your videos have uplifted my self-confidence and my drive for success. I can’t wait to get together with my business partner and make things happen. SistahQueensPublishing, LLC will succeed! 😀

I listen to several but Pat is good and I enjoy everything he has had to mention. His wisdom confirms I am doing the right thing for my business. Also, made me feel better about the obstacles we have been through and going through because it will be temporary and we will execute better plans.

what about Grant Cardone? He might have you beat on the information he puts on youtube.

Hour channel has such a valuable information. You point out so many important things, I didn’t even know they matter. In your other video you talked how being overweight can cause someone make less money. That is an eye opening for me. I better care how I look if I want to earn more. Often by chasing money we neglect our health and look, but maybe by less chasing and taking more time and spend a little more on beauty products and healthy things we can earn a lot more than it costs to look good.

I’m a first time watcher but not last… I’m starting a Custom Shoes Business that’s really a side hustle now but will grow soon. I’m in college trying to get this off the ground do you have any other advice or videos to watch.

Pat, I love your advice on how to promote yourself without specifically talking about yourself. The Yale and Yankee example says it best. Is there a book that you have read that strongly impacted you and taught you this type of thinking and speaking?
