Thank you for this. I am still young.. I’m a sophomore in high school but I already know that I want to be a entrepreneur when I grow up and step into the real world. I have already had some ideas on how I could build a successful business. But this really helped me understand what I am getting into if I chose to be an entrepreneur so thank you.

*Disclaimer – All statements that follow are part of my own opinion, based on what I would call ‘common sense’. You are free to disagree. * Your whole first point is full of incorrect declarations(frankly I would call it pure bullsh*t) Until a degree that can actually be harmful to your audience. First of all education IS important for success in whatever, as it could be a great way to learn relevant skills, gain knowledge, form a network, get involved in projects that can have great professional benefits. If you end up in education that you find unpleasant and not related to your dreams – what are you doing there? Then, choosing to follow a job career path for amount of time can not only bring security, but many other benefits – it can give you a basis to know more about the field you want to be entrepreneur in, it can help you gain finances to put in your idea and again it does help you network. How can you be a successful entrepreneur without a day of work in your life? Also it’s not only security that can be found in a job path, there are so many careers that can be more then great following a job and cannot be achieved so successfully through entrepreneurship, people who follow such are not afraid of taking risk and being doomed to mediocrity(or having low self-esteem?!) but are merely enjoying their life dream. However I assume does are not relevant for the discussion. To sum up – Good luck being successful(entrepreneur or not) if you are uneducated and don’t have any professional experience. 🙂

Peter- your videos are so inspiring! I have been the managing editor of a small publication for a little over two years. I have recently acquired the publication myself and must now lead the sales team. Everyone, including my ex boss, has said I would be the best at this job, but I’m a writer and I’ve been very happy to simply stay in my cubby hole doling out and writing stories and ad copy. The idea of owning and operating the entire magazine was not something I ever saw coming- well, now it’s come and I look forward to learning from you, a sincere, authentic approach to this new chapter. This IS a magazine I would read myself and I adore it! It begins there. Thank you so much
